Being a Helping Member of Your Church: Joshua Kerrigan

Joshua Kerrigan is a member of his local church. Not only does he attend regularly, but he also makes sure to volunteer and help out with any projects or tasks that he is able to. It is important that when you are a part of a congregation or any type of group in your community that you do your part to help out in any way you can, and allow things to run smoothly for everyone involved.

Joshua Kerrigan recently completed a landscaping project at his local church, where he is also a member. Joshua Kerrigan saw where some of the outside landscaping was lacking, and decided to do something about it. He personally re-did the entire exterior landscaping at his church, and they were very grateful. Joshua Kerrigan took his own personal time and decided to make a difference and help out his church. Whenever you are a part of something like a church family, people really appreciate your help and are always looking for help in doing things like landscaping. Joshua Kerrigan was more than happy to lend a helping hand.

Volunteering or using your free time in a way that helps others not only benefits the people that you are helping out, but it also benefits you personally. It always feels so great once you complete a project that you know will help someone and make someone or something’s well being improved. Joshua Kerrigan believes that being a part of a church is more than just attending.

Joshua Kerrigan knows that in order to practice what you preach, per se, that you have to take action in your church community, whether this is helping renovate the landscaping, or using your skills to help out in a different way.  Joshua Kerrigan could not be happier with the way his project turned out, and is excited to be able to help out again in the future.
