In the summer of 2012, Joshua Kerrigan announced that his company would be adding yacht charter management to its full roster of services provided to clients. It's an exciting option, and many clients were likely thrilled with the idea and incredibly happy that they'd have the chance to take advantage of such an exciting service. Other clients might not have known what yacht charter management actually is, however, and they might have needed a little primer on the topic. This is the information Joshua Kerrigan provided to those clients.
Owning a yacht can be an expensive proposition. These are finicky vessels that need to be cleaned, serviced and otherwise managed in order to function at a peak performance level. While some people can afford to pay for all of these services on their own, without the help of others, high prices can put the squeeze on some owners, and those prices might make the owners consider getting out of the yacht ownership program altogether.
Yacht charter management can help, Joshua Kerrigan says. People who take advantage of this opportunity allow their management companies to rent out the yacht to successful companies and respectful private individuals. These groups might want to own their own yachts, but they might not have the money to purchase a vessel. They might be willing to pay a reasonable amount of money in order to have a fabulous experience on the yacht of someone else, however. Yacht charter management companies write the rental agreement, supply the crew and even stay firmly in charge during the tour, ensuring that all goes well and that the yacht is returned to the port in the pristine condition in which it left. The money the clients pay goes right back to the owner of the yacht.
Joshua Kerrigan is proud to offer this service to his clients, and he hopes it will help to reduce some of the financial stress some of his clients feel. The idea that some of his clients might lose their yachts due to financial difficulty was just too difficult for Joshua Kerrigan to even think about, and he's happy to provide his clients with another solution that might help. The program is in its early stages now, but it's already been deemed a great success by the clients who have chosen to take advantage of the opportunity. Joshua Kerrigan hopes even more clients will do the same in the future.
